AILEEN LIGOT DIZON
Aileen Ligot Dizon is the founder and the managing partner of Ligot Dizon Law Firm. She is an attorney admitted to practice in Texas and in the Philippines. She handles immigration, estate planning, divorce and related family law matters.
Aileen is a graduate of Master of Laws at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, and Master of Education at the University of Houston-Victoria. Moreover, Aileen is a graduate of the University of Cordilleras School of Law and the University of the Philippines Baguio.
Aileen is the Region Chair of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce Texas – Houston. She is the Legal Counsel of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America and Women of Courage International. She is the current First Vice-President of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in Texas – Houston Chapter, and the Vice-Chair of the Philippine Kalayaan Houston, an association of community leaders organized in partnership with the Philippine Consulate General in Houston.
ORLANDO R DIZON
Orlando is an attorney admitted, active and in good standing, to practice law in all state courts of Texas, New York, Maryland, and Tennessee. He handles business immigration, tax, and other related business law matters. Orlando graduated with the degrees of Master of Laws at the University of Houston Law Center, Master of Business Administration in Finance at the University of Houston-Victoria, Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Houston-Downtown, and Associate in Business Administration at Eastfield College in Dallas, Texas. Moreover, Orlando obtained his law and bachelor degrees at the University of Cordilleras in Baguio City, Philippines.
Orlando represents taxpayers such as corporations, partnerships, individuals, nonprofit corporations, and tax-exempt organizations in all stages of federal tax controversies before the United States Tax Court or before the I.R.S.
Further, Orlando advises entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and investors on a wide variety of matters including entity formation, business and tax planning, contract disputes, partnership disputes, creditor-debtor and debt collections, real estate transactions, state and local taxes, laws applicable to tax-exempt organizations or nonprofit corporations, buy-sell or buy-out agreements, and draft-review-negotiate business agreements. A native of the Philippines, Orlando speaks and writes Tagalog fluently.
